Position:
The Department of Counseling and Student Development invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level for a nine-month appointment with possible summer teaching.? The department is a teaching, student-centered department with collaborative faculty meetings.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities involve teaching graduate courses in EIU?s ?First Choice? Masters of Science in College Student Affairs program and chairing theses committees.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have a doctorate in higher education in administration, college student affairs or related discipline with an emphasis in higher education/student affairs at time of employment. Preferred qualifications include evidence of working in higher education or student affairs, effective teaching of college student affairs curricula, a research agenda evident through previous lines of inquiry and service to the profession.
