Thanks for a fine piece featuring National Adoption Day on Nov. 17. Permit me to urge that you more frequently publish articles promoting adoption of?children.

Spokane?s commercial television stations? news departments actively and frequently promote adoption, but only of cats and dogs. Because of this, and a dearth of news articles urging adoption, I have been wondering whether there might be a significant number of children in Spokane deprived of the benefits of a home in a family environment and awaiting?adoption.
