Rajon Rondo isn't friends with many NBA players

Congrats to Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo, who was just announced to the 2013 NBA All-Star Game as a starter for the East. This will be his fourth All-Star Game in his career. Rondo's had a strong season, not only keeping his assists at an exceptional level but also improving his scoring. It may not seem significant in the simple per game statistics, but don't let that fool you. Rondo's main detractors decry his shooting as a major weakness, but this year has seen him make marked improvement in his jump shooting. He's becoming more well-rounded on offense and not just an elite playmaker as a passer, so it makes sense that he received the second-most votes of any Eastern Conference backcourt player.

So now Rondo can relax for that little break, have some mimosas and Long Island iced teas and hang out with his other All-Star buddies, right Rajon?

"Why would I?" asked Rondo.

Hm, I guess not. Is there anyone Rondo would hang out with?

"No, I don?t do much socializing," he said. "If I make it, I hope one of my homeboys makes it, [Atlanta's] Josh Smith. If he makes it, KG makes it, we?ll all [hang out]."

In that case, Rajon Rondo might want to go ahead and check out the HBO listings.
